Burger, Burger, Burger
I’m jumping on the burger bandwagon. By eating them, that is. We all know the sudden craze that swept Atlanta recently. Burger battles abound and every single one of us has favorites. Mine? I have three.

If you have never had the Holeman & Finch‘s elusive burger, then… You. Have. Not. Lived. H+F’s burgers, available only beginning at 10PM (now also during brunch on Sundays) are house-ground and handmade. Only 24 are available each night. Some say it’s the rarity that makes them good. But I have to disagree. I have eaten these burgers so many times I deserve to own stock in the restaurant. The patties are perfect: a blend of high quality meats, juicy, tasty, well seasoned, great texture. Pair these with their buttery buns, homemade ketchup and mustard and you have not tasted a better burger. Seriously. Want your hands on one of these? Get there early. Or… get your bestie to get there early regularly and reserve one for you. Like me. Easy!

Two words. Bocado Burger. Available everyday. Any time. Bocado’s burgers are top notch and have a cult following of its own. They come with two glorious patties that are tender, juicy, tasty. Gooey cheese and buttery buns complete the picture. Believe me when I say they are crazy good. My good friends Beth (a true Bocado burger fanatic) and Jen can attest to it.

There is no surprise that Esquire’s Best Restaurant of 2010 would put out an amazing burger. Miller Union’s take starts with thick handmade patties that are so flavorful and juicy. It’s got good cheese, crisp greens, all on a thick buttery, sesame seed bun. Every time you sink your teeth in, you’re gonna say, wow, this is good. But don’t take my word for it. Go.
There are so many places to get good burgers in Atlanta and an exhaustive list would be impossible to include. I am an equal opportunity burger eater and I’ve eaten a fair share of them — from Houston’s (a childhood favorite) to Neiman Marcus Cafe, Flip, Muss & Turner, Grindhouse to Krystals, and many more. I named my current top three. What are yours?

I love H&F .. that burger looks so good! I’ve tried several times to grab the burger to no avail, even on burger night a little over a month ago when they sold out! I think Sunday brunch is my next attempt. If not, their other choices are always top notch. Nice write-up and glad to see this on Scoutmob!

I haven’t had a chance to get a H & F burger yet, but can’t wait to grab one. It is rather difficult to score one of the few burgers they make a night! I’ll get mine eventually..

Oh Brandon. You HAVE to try it. It’s not as excellent as when the original chef was there (maybe just no 90% as good) but it’s still the best in Atlanta.
